1. Which product and buyer?

Define the SKU, format, value proposition and intended buyer. Category-wide analysis can hide decisive product differences. Learn what the channel buys today and why it would change supplier.

2. Is there competitive space?

Compare relevant products and leaders, not just market size. Pricing, origin, presentation and distribution reveal crowding or a defensible opening. If the difference is hard to explain quickly, it will be hard to sell.

3. Can the company supply and execute?

Free capacity, minimum order, pilot batches, shelf life, team and working capital matter as much as demand. An attractive opportunity can exceed the company's ability to serve it reliably.

4. Do the numbers survive stress?

Build the price chain to the consumer and each participant's margin. Then test changes in freight, currency and selling price. A positive base case may disappear under plausible pressure.

5. What requirements could block entry?

Check composition, documents, labels, claims, import conditions and channel rules for the exact product. A regulatory or documentation issue can halt entry despite demand. Specialist review should fit the category and market.

6. Which partner really fits?

A company list is not a distribution strategy. Assess category, channel, territory, portfolio and operational fit before prioritising contacts. Explain the benefit to the partner as well as to yourself.

7. What is known and what remains unproven?

Separate documented facts from company declarations, unreviewed research and assumptions. Keep a variable pending when a key input is missing. An honest incomplete assessment beats a precise-looking score built on gaps.

Marketify Entry System structures these questions across 40 variables and 8 areas. Our team researches and validates evidence before making a recommendation, or explaining why a decision is not yet supported.
